A golf round voucher gives the recipient an 18-hole round of golf at a course of their choosing. It is one of the most useful golf gifts for someone who plays regularly. No equipment, no wrong size, no wasted money.
What is included in a golf round voucher?
A golf round voucher covers the green fee for an 18-hole round at a course in the Swyng network. The recipient selects their preferred course from over 2,000 locations across the UK.
The voucher does not include golf clubs or equipment. The recipient uses their own equipment.
How much does a golf round voucher cost?
Round vouchers are priced per player:
- Round for one: £80
- Round for two: £160
- Round for three: £240
- Round for four: £320
Each player in the group plays at the same course on the same day.
Which courses are available?
The Swyng network covers over 2,000 courses across the UK. This includes parkland courses, heathland courses, and links tracks in England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland.
The recipient specifies their preferred area when redeeming. Swyng matches them with the most suitable available course nearby.
Does the recipient need to be a member?
No. All courses in the network accept voucher holders as visiting players. No membership, handicap certificate, or previous course experience is required, though recipients should be able to play to a reasonable standard on the course.
Is there a difference between a round voucher and a playing lesson?
A round voucher covers a standard game of 18 holes. The recipient plays independently without instruction.
A playing lesson involves a PGA professional accompanying the golfer around the course, providing coaching throughout the round on course management, decision making, and shot selection. Playing lessons are available in 9-hole and 18-hole formats and are a better option for someone who wants to improve while playing.
For more information on lessons, see the golf lesson voucher page.
Can I use a round voucher in Scotland?
Yes. Round vouchers are redeemable at courses across Scotland, including Edinburgh, Glasgow, Fife, Ayrshire, and the Highlands.
How does redemption work?
After purchase, the recipient receives a voucher by email. When they are ready to use it, they contact Swyng to choose their preferred course. Swyng confirms the booking and the recipient plays on their chosen date.
Vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
What is the refund policy?
Full refunds are available within 30 days of purchase, provided the voucher has not been redeemed.
